The whole problem starts with the parents. It’s not unusual for some parents to buy indecent clothes for their children. Once those children grow up, they will definitely choose those clothes over decent ones because they don’t see anything wrong with them.

We don’t have to blame children here, but the parents who have forgotten the cultural values of proper upbringing.

There are also parents who have abandoned their parental obligations and left their children to do as they please. This is so wrong.

I think that parents must begin to own up and take more responsibility towards the conduct of their children; otherwise what the article exposed will always be a big issue in our societies.

If a child puts on short (and sometimes revealing) clothes and the parent just looks on, then this child is going to grow up knowing this is something good and yet it isn’t. The buck stops at the parents’ table, others like local leaders, teachers…come next.
