Rap music lovers are in for a treat as J-Dub and Don Nova will perform tonight to mark the first anniversary of their mixtapes Dub Therapy and Mu Isi Yanjye, (DTMIY). Apart from the entertainment, the music duo's fans will get a chance to buy the DTMIY mixtapes at Rwf 5,000 each.
Rap music lovers are in for a treat as J-Dub and Don Nova will perform tonight to mark the first anniversary of their mixtapes Dub Therapy and Mu Isi Yanjye, (DTMIY).
Apart from the entertainment, the music duo’s fans will get a chance to buy the DTMIY mixtapes at Rwf 5,000 each.
"The show is to mark one year since Don Nova and I released our first mixtapes. We are both part of an upcoming hip -hop/rap group called 101, and we want to bring hip-hop with a tri-lingual effect to Rwanda,” said J-Dub.
"Music is my number one passion and I cannot imagine life without it. I use it to pass on messages to people and I believe I can be a revolutionary in this music industry,” he added.
All artistes affiliated to 101 are expected to headline the event. The free concert starts at 7 pm at Mosaic Gourmet Restaurant in Kimihurura.
