Dear editor,

With Rwanda currently chairing the East African Community, a lot is expected on the role she plays in fostering better regional trade.

The policies that were recently discussed in the EAC Convention should be implemented, as soon as possible to have a better trade network. Things like improving infrastructure should not be delayed. These are directly proportional to better trade.

Rwanda as a country is enforcing this however, other member states should not relax in this area of development.

The roads in Uganda  for instance need to be worked on seriously. Potholes should not be part of the region because they slow down trade.
