Producer Huggor back from Iwawa
Music producer Huggor finally graduated from Iwawa Rehabilitation and Vocational Skills Development Centre in Rutsiro District on Wednesday after spending eight months there. According to our snoops, Huggor was taken to the government-run TVET and rehab centre after his parents realised that he was developing an alcoholic problem.
Huggor made his name while producing videos for Ibisumizi, Urban Boyz, Bull Dogg, TNP, among others. But apparently, his alcoholic problems were getting him into trouble with people and, after many complaints about his unbecoming behavior, his parents felt he needed a stint in Iwawa with hope he would change his ways and help save his future. Our scouts reveal that he came back a much better person and is now planning to enroll for music studies. We wish him all the best.
Bahati has a mental problem – Croidja
Well, whoever thought that music group Just Family had vanished off the face of Rwandan music is totally wrong. Instead of making hits, former group members Bahati and Croidja are making news, not by releasing songs but by outdoing each other in what looks like comedy skits. According to our sources, after Just Family split in 2012, all members went different ways; however, Croidja cropped up last week after Bahati had given a testimony in church about how they used to do witchcraft together.
Croidja, according to snoops, told people that Bahati is running mad and needs mental help. Although Croidja doesn’t deny going into witchcraft, our snoops say that Bahati has since embarked on a 40-day fasting period to pray for Croidja to also get saved. Looks they are back in the news, for the wrong reasons!
Cold war between Neg G the General and Sajou the Sergeant
Who knew that there would be a day when a General would trade words with a Sergeant without the latter learning a few lessons for his disrespect? Well, this is not the army, it is the music industry and they don’t mince their words.
Our snoops inform us that early this week, Sajou the Sergeant released a single dubbed Itabaruka ryanjye and it sparked off a social media war that can only be compared to that of Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose. Apparently, the General accused the Sergeant, on his Facebook page, for recording a "rubbish” song and even the little flavour it has is because the Sergeant copied some of the General’s lyrics.
This didn’t go well with the Sergeant who hit back calling the General a one-hit wonder. Well, this battle promises to be here for the long haul. Catch them on social media for the latest outbursts!
