On September 15th 2014, Rwanda, will be observing the International Day of Democracy. Every year, Rwanda joins the world to observe this important Day. This year’s global theme is Engaging Young People on Democracy, which highlights the challenges and opportunities of young people engaging in democratic processes.

The National theme for Rwanda is Sharing Rwandans Voices on Democracy, which provides an opportunity for ordinary muturage to express his/her opinion on democracy. The Theme focuses on the the voices of citizens as they interact with democracy in their day to day lives.
