After winning the toss, Charity Cricket Club batted first and made 161 runs in 20 overs after losing two wickets.
Cathey Uwamahoro was Charity’s most outstanding batter with 56 runs not out, while Claudine Uwamahoro contributed 22 runs.
And in response, the champions chased and tied the score with a loss of five wickets in 20 overs, which sent the two teams into ‘Supper Over.
In the Super Over, Charity battled first and made 7 runs, and Queens of Victory then chased and made 8 runs off 2 balls.
Diane Bimenyimana was Queens of Victory’s top scorer with 63 runs not out and Rosine Ngabire added 15 runs.
Evode Hakizimana the head coach of Charity was not happy with the results and blamed his players for making reckless mistakes.
"We were supposed to win this game but my players made reckless mistakes and allowed them (Queens of Victory) to chase and even tie,” he said.
Meanwhile, the captain of Queens of Victory Jean D’arc Sibo was happy for the win, "We were resilient and I think we deserved to win.”
