APR HANDBALL CLUB has no chance to win the league title but head coach John Mary Vianney Munyangondo is optimistic they can finish in a respectable second position.

Munyangondo is confident that his side can win all the remaining games to clinch second spot. APR have just returned from Zanzibar for the military games where they finished in fourth position.

The team will be without key players Andrew Ndagijimana and Olivier Hategekimana, who are injured.

"We are not concerned about other teams, our aim is to win our remaining games,” Munyangondo said ahead of today’s encounter with Rambura at Kimisagara youth sports center ground.

The army side is currently in the fourth position with 23 points and five games in hand. Leaders Police have 36 points with 3 games remaining; defending champions Gicumbi are second with 33 points, while ES Kigoma are third on 30 points.
