Rayon Sports take on Inatek in the first semi-final of the Imbuto Foundation national league playoffs, which get underway this morning in Ngoma District.
The Ngoma-based Inatek will be hoping to win the first game at home before travelling to Kigali for the second game on Sunday.
Rayon Sports will be missing the service of experienced center Pierre Marshal Kwizera, right attacker Nelson Murangwa, who went for professional trials in Japan as well as setter Ivan Mahoro Nsabimana, who went to Russia for further studies.
Imbuto Foundation has injected Rwf10m into Volleyball National league (Playoffs) under the theme ‘Fighting Against Malaria’.
In the other semi-final, APR will meet Lycee de Nyanza, also in Ngoma and the second game will be in Kigali at Amahoro Indoor Stadium tomorrow.
The winners of the two legged semi-final will play the final next weekend. The first games will be played at Nyanza on Saturday before shifting to Kigali for game two on Sunday.
In the women category, table leaders Rwanda Revenue Authority will be up against St Alloys, who finished fourth, while second-placed and defending champions APR will be playing against Ruhango.
