Teta to perform at Rwanda Day

Local musician Diana Teta is over the moon after clinching a deal to perform at the 6th edition of Rwanda Day in Atlanta, United States of America (USA).

Local musician Diana Teta is over the moon after clinching a deal to perform at the 6th edition of Rwanda Day in Atlanta, United States of America (USA). 

Intore Masamba, King James and Sophia are the other lucky artistes selected to perform at the two days event starting on September 19. The artistes are expected to leave for the US on September 17 and return on September 22.

The annual event brings together Rwandans based in the USA to interact and also share ideas. President Paul Kagame is expected to grace the event.

"It’s a great privilege for me to be among artistes selected to perform at the 2014 Rwanda Day. It’s also another opportunity for me to boost my music career since I will be performing on a bigger platform,” Teta told The New Times.

US based - Rwandan musicians K8 Kavuyo, The Ben, and Meddy are also expected to perform at the event.
