APR Volleyball Club will meet Lycee de Nyanza in the playoffs, while Rayon Sports will square off with INATEK this weekend at Amahoro indoor stadium.
APR, who lead the table with 36 points, will meet Lycee de Nyanza, who finished the regular league with 23 points. Rayon were second with 33 points, while INATEK finished on third position with 30 points.
Sammy Mulinge’s army side will be crowned league champions if they win the first two playoff games against Lycee de Nyanza regardless of what happens in between Rayon and INATEK. Rayon Sports’ chances depend on APR losing both games.
However, Fidele Nyirimana’s Rayon Sports will be without youngster Nelson Murangwa, who left for professional trials in Japan last week and the injured Pierre Marshal Kwizera.
In the women category, table leaders Rwanda Revenue Authority will be up against St Alloys, who finished fourth, while second-placed and defending champions APR will be playing against Ruhango.
