I have heard some people argue on radio that abortion is good if someone was raped but I totally disagree with that view. I believe whether one was raped or not, the baby is not at fault and should not be victimised. How do you know if that child will be the future president of the country? Abortion has never been justified whatever the circumstances.

Abortion is usually a result of unwanted pregnancies. During such times, a girl needs moral support from everyone especially the parents. Lack of it might compel her to abort which is very bad. I hate abortion.

Abortion is not good because you may experience a lot of complications in the process of carrying it out. I would rather you give away the baby to someone else than kill them. Imagine if our parents had also aborted us!

Abortion is illegal in Rwanda but also dangerous to the girl doing it. There are very many child care centres where you can take your child if you don’t want them. I believe if you abort you must regret that decision at some point in the future.

Personally I don’t support abortion but it seems to be on the increase since more young people are indulging in unprotected sex. The whole population needs to embark on a sensitisation drive about the danger of aborting.

There is a possibility of dying while carrying out an abortion so that’s not an option worth considering by any girl. In Africa we treasure children so much and cannot therefore support such unGodly acts. Do you know you could terminate the only child whom God had planned for you?

Abortion is due to early sex. I believe someone who is officially married cannot abort. The most important thing is to abstain till marriage. If you happen to get pregnant, you should endure and give birth although you might be poor because children are the greatest gift you will ever have.
