National football league side Gicumbi FC have signed Ugandan-born striker Mustafa Kasolo from Kenyan club Sofapaka. Kasolo signed a one-year contract last week.
Gicumbi FC head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha confirmed the development on Friday. The 2014/15 season is set to kick off on September 20.
"He is an experienced striker, who I believe will make a big difference to our striking options in the coming season once he adapts well to the new environment,” Ruremesha told Times Sport.
The 30-year old previously featured for Uganda’s Super League sides of BUL FC and Masaka LC before joining Sam Timbe’s Sofapaka in June 2013.
