GS KABUSUNZU coach Grace Nyinawumuntu has hailed his side after winning the girls’ football title at the just concluded East African Post-primary, FEASSSA Games in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Kabusunzu was the only Rwandan team to win a trophy out of the 20 trophies which were at stake.Nyinawumuntu, who doubles as the She-Amavubi and AS Kigali women Football Club coach said: "We are very happy for the milestone my girls accomplished, we did our best to win the title and we are happy for that, I congratulate my players.”
Kabusunzu, who were making their maiden appearance at the regional tourney, won the title after beating home-side Makongo 2-1 in the final played on Sunday. The Rwandan team scored their goals through Marie Jeanne Nyirahafashimana and Anne Marie Ibangarye.
Uganda’s Saint Mary’s Kitende dominated the one-week long competitions after retaining the boys’ football title, which they have won since 2004. They also won the boys’ volleyball and netball titles but lost in girls’ basketball final.
