Local R n’B group Active have released the video of their hit single Lift, a few days after the Primus Guma Guma Super Stars took the 5th spot at the grande finale on Saturday.

The group that is made up of Tizzo, Derek and Olvis started out as backup dancers for several artistes before complementing their dance skills with singing vocals.  

Lead singer Derek, says they consider the video as the main launch of their career. "We consider this song as the birth of our career because it is unique and it was produced by a new producer, under a new label with new designs.”

This is the first video produced by the group after they parted ways with Incredible records last week to join Infinity records. The video was produced by Meddy Saleh, one of the most sought after video producers in the country. 

The group first tasted the lime light in 2013 when they released Udukoryo Twinshi featuring rapper Danny Nanone and it received massive airplay. They have since followed it up with Mwiza, Usanza, and Ayaiya among others.
