Mukura Victory Sports football club head coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga believes his team can finish in the top four in league next season.

"We want to be in top four in the league and it is possible because we have a good team. Everyone, including us, wants to win the league, but we have to take one step at a time--finishing in the top four in the coming season will be a big achievement for us,” he said.

The Huye-based side finished in number eight in the 14-team table with 29 points having won 8, drew 25 and lost 12 of their 26 matches last season.

"We’ll to do our best to achieve our target, but there is need for everyone involved with Mukura to pull in the same direction; we need to work together for the entire season if we want to be a top four team,” added the former Rayon Sports and Kiyovu coach.

Last season, Kayiranga was in charge of Gicumbi FC and helped the then newly promoted side to finish one place and four points behind Mukura.

Ahead of the new season, that is tentatively scheduled to start on September 20, Mukura have signed a couple of new players including; strikers Amani Mukeshe Mugisha, Hakim Zaki and Thierry Bimenyimana among others.
