President Paul Kagame, and Commander- In- Chief of Rwanda Defence Forces, yesterday held a meeting with RDF Generals and Senior Officers at Defence Headquarters in Kimihurura.

The meeting focused on RDF Operational Readiness, Discipline and Welfare.

"The Commander-In-Chief discussed with the RDF operational readiness in the maintenance of security as key to national development. The RDF culture of discipline, honour and commitment that has defined RDF for over two decades and has made it a pillar of national and regional security", said Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita, Defence Spokesperson.

This is a routine meeting the Commander-In-Chief holds with the RDF.

The President had last met with RDF on 27 January 2014.
