Gatabazi further said that the goal behind this competition is to uplift Rwandan music especially in the disc jockeying sector which lacks enough support.
"It is time that we start supporting our own music industry, starting from talents that are in the youth. With this competition, we want to show Rwandans that music is a career like any other,” she said, adding that parents should also support their kids who are interested to join the music and art sector.
The contest is being organised by Bralirwa Plc with a goal to promote DJs and create public awareness of the talent and quality music in Rwanda, as well as provide business opportunities, networking, and leisure activities through competitions.
