U-20 handball team to play for third place

Rwanda’s U-20 handball teams in both genders will today battle for third place after losing their semi-finals matches on Tuesday in the ongoing Zone V Challenge Trophy in Mukono, Uganda.

Rwanda’s U-20 handball teams in both genders will today battle for third place after losing their semi-finals matches on Tuesday in the ongoing Zone V Challenge Trophy in Mukono, Uganda.

The girls team lost to hosts Uganda 18-16, while the boys were beaten 3-0 in extra time by Kenya after normal time had ended 25-25.

Today, both teams will be vying for the third place when the boys team take on Tanzania with the girls up against Burundi.

Friday is rest day while the finals will be played on Saturday between Uganda and Kenya in both categories.
