Dear readers

Rags-to-riches stories have always been the most inspiring, especially when it comes to self-made millionaires and the like. However, when it comes to true inspiration, it’s the little things that count; take Faith Uwantege, for example, who quit her job and used her humble savings to do charity work in Kinigi district. Or Harriet Ingabire, who even with a degree in psychology, decided that the empowerment of vulnerable women living with HIV/Aids as well as children from disadvantaged families, was worthier than a fancy job.

This week, Women Today takes a look at some of the phenomenal women who are setting the pace for peers and have already inspired many.
