Anti-GBV initiatives impress women rights activists
Women attending the ongoing ‘African Centres of Excellence (ACE)’ meeting in Kigali visited the Rwanda National Police (RNP) anti-gender and domestic violence medical wing – Isange One-Stop Centre on Wednesday, and lauded the Force for its holistic approach in dealing with women and child issues.

Women attending the ongoing ‘African Centres of Excellence (ACE)’ meeting in Kigali visited the Rwanda National Police (RNP) anti-gender and domestic violence medical wing – Isange One-Stop Centre on Wednesday, and lauded the Force for its holistic approach in dealing with women and child issues.
The delegation is headed by ACE director Melat Tekletsadik. Established in 2009, Isange One-Stop Centre offers free medical, psycho-socio and legal services to victims of gender and domestic violence.
