Singer, songwriter and producer Gaston Rurangwa aka Skizzy is set to take part in a new movie, Mpamo Celib Rwandais on how Rwandans connect with the outside world through the internet.

The movie, to be produced by Jacqueline Kalimunda, will seek to demonstrate the social life Rwandans led prior to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and Liberation, as well as how they have since evolved thanks largely to widespread access to the internet.

Nearly three million Rwandans have access to the internet while five million own mobile phones.

The movie will be shot in Rwanda, France, and Belgium and is expected to be released in 2015.
