If you are a magic enthusiast and want to learn some easy magic tricks, a visit to Indian Magician Sham Shad’s booth at the ongoing trade fair at Gikondo Expo Ground will definately impress you.

Shad and his two colleagues are eager to teach you some real magic tricks at a cost of Rwf10, 000.

After you have bought their magic kit, the jovial Indian performer from New Delhi, India, takes about 10 minutes to teach you how to use it and, you too can instantly try out the tricks at home.

Asked how it all works, on Monday, Shad told The New Times that it is just a "mind game” and every one can  laern and practice it.

"On a single day, about five hundred people visit our stand, mostly between 9pm and 10pm,” Shad said.

Asked if he went to school to learn his craft, he smiled and said: "Study? No, these are mind games! Brain sharpener!”

In the evenings, groups of people – young and old – gather around his stand for a mesmerising 10 minute demonstration of all kinds of tricks.

What is undisputed is, magician Shad’s tricks are sure to impress even the most skeptical.

"It was fun watching the magician do this thing. I asked my mum to buy me the magic kit and she promised to buy it for me. I too will learn how to do magic. I want to surprise my siblings at home,” said one girl who visited the stand with her family last week.
