The ceremony which aims to launch two songbooks is set to mark a celebration of his journey in the music industry and those who have been by his side in the journey of life, most importantly his parents.
Oreste began his music journey at a young age, nurtured by the love and encouragement of his parents, mostly from his father who was also a singer. Their unwavering support provided the foundation upon which his remarkable career was built. With each note he sang and every stage he graced, their presence and guidance were his constant sources of inspiration.
When he attended Petit Semanaire Saint Aloys Cyangugu, he joined a music class hence broadening his talent.
"Like many who attended Semanaire schools, we learn about music and I took it seriously because it was my passion. In senior three that is when I first wrote a song, from then I never looked back,” said Oreste.
Tickets to the launch go for RWF 5,000 for Regular seats and RWF 10,000 VIP. They can be purchased via the number 0787494940. The event which will host strictly 200 people is set to kick off at 6pm.
