Interaction and discussion blended with music is the best way for one to learn after years of academic struggles in formal institutions.

This a statement made by Charles Gahungu the team leader of Victory Fellowship International (VFI) that attracted different people from Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and India to learn how best Christians can fight poverty.

The conference which was organized by the VFI-Rwanda chapter sought to teach young men in a relaxed atmosphere topics of national importance that would help them in their lives.

"This kind of conference is needed today for young men if issues must be grasped, interaction, discussion and music,” Gahundu said.

A group of young men that completed its engineering course formed VFI with the unique approach of preaching the gospel through music, interaction and discussions targeted at young men.

Gahungu said young men can improve their lives because VFI teaches how to start and manage income generating projects.

According to Gahungu, VFI was started way back in 1984 by Kenyan scholars who went to India for their engineering course and discovered that the country has many religions.

A visiting Indian pastor Lawrence M Arumainayagam of Intouch Fellowship International based in Coimbatore in India, also told The New Times that India has many religions.

Arumainayagam said the most popular religions in India are Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism among others.

He also added that such kind of conferences that are interactive, with discussion and music are more endearing to the young men’s education, with more issues sticking to their minds because the message is received in an enjoyable and relaxed manner.
