Refer to the story, "UN peacekeepers can be sued for forsaking Tutsi” (The New Times, July 22). Every international peacekeeper that was in Rwanda during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and did nothing or just withdrew as thousands of helpless Tutsi were being hacked to death should be held accountable.

It’s time for justice to be delivered; we will shout until justice for our loved ones is served.

With our courts now competent to handle such cases, it is also possible to bring the case in Rwandan courts and seek reparations, say 200 billion dollars, for those crimes and others committed by Belgium.

A similar case can be brought against France for an even bigger sum.
