Brioche, one of the main pastry shops in Kigali, plans to employ more than 100 in the near future as it moves to ensure customer satisfaction, Jean Philippe Kayobosti, the Brioche director, has said.
The firm that operates three coffee and pastry shops in town; at the Kigali Business Centre, the Grand Pension Plaza and in Gacuriro currently has 40 workers.
Kayobosti said the move is aimed at boosting customer service delivery and enhance efficiency.
"The coffee shop presents huge opportunities for us to create more jobs for Rwandans and boost the country’s tourism industry,” Kayobosti said.
He was speaking at the opening of the firm’s new shop at the Grand Pension Plaza in Kigali on Monday.
