Chasing 121, the select side reached the target with two wickets in hand. The hard-hitting all-rounder was the difference between the two sides after establishing a 60-run partnership with team captain Andre Kayitera.

Today, the select side takes on Masaka SS in the first classification game after being ruled out of the quarter finals by default.
Tournament organizers, Uganda Cricket Association deliberately omitted Rwanda’s select side from the quarter-finals to ruin any chances of the trophy crossing the border.
