All is set for this year’s Ferwaba all-star game that will see APR’s point guard Jean Jacques Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza team Play with that of Espoir’s point guard Olivier Turatsinze at the BK Arena this Saturday, September 23.
The evening will also be followed by a music concert that will be headlined by some of the best rappers on the continent such as South Africa’s Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest.

Other musicians to grace the show include Rwandan rapper and lyricist Kivumbi King, DJ June and Hottempah collective with radio presenter Zuba as and Brian as the MC of the night.
The 2023 All-star game will be the fifth edition of the competition that brings together star players of the local league, organised in two different teams which play against each other.

The Rwanda Basketball Federation (Ferwaba) first hosted an all-star game in 2013, and did so again in 2019, 2021 and 2023. The event will also feature a three-point and slam dunk contest.
The American NBA-style All-Star Game will be preceded by contests in slam dunk and three-point shooting.
