Twenty-year old Issa Gatsinzi has a lot to celebrate, and he has his excellent communication skills to thank. At a tender age, the young orator has scooped almost every award in debating competitions at both Primary and Secondary levels.

In fact, Gatsinzi attributes most of his success to the knowledge that was provided by his primary school. It was here that he won his first award for being the best debater in Sinai Hills Academy Ndeera in 2009.

This was just the beginning of his foray into the academic lime light. Soon after joining, Groupe Scholare Kanombe, he picked up another debating award in 2011.

However, Gatsinzi has proved to be exceptional in more than just debate. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he loves literature. But whether it is in Economics or Geography, the young man has often been recognised for being a disciplined and brilliant student.

Gatsinzi has big dreams and hopes to live a happy and fulfilled life. His major inspiration is Foreign Affairs Minister Louise Mushikiwabo whose love for Rwanda and women empowerment has done much to promote the image and rights of Rwandan women.

Gatsinzi plans to utilise his talent to positively impact on society.
