NGOMA DISTRICT-based Institute of agriculture, technology and education of Kibungo, INATEK registered two wins over the weekend to go top of the national volleyball standings.
The club won two of the earlier rescheduled matches against Kirehe 3-0 and KVC 3-0 at Club Rafiki Nyamirambo on Sunday to move top of the table with 18 points in seven matches, three clear of duo rivals Rayon Sports and APR who have one and two games in hand respectively.
KVC also eased Kirehe, winning three sets.
In women’s category, IPRC- Kicukuro hosted Saint Aloys Rwamagana to lose in five sets (3-2) to Rwamagana district-based secondary school in hard fought clash.
Former champions Rwanda Revenue Authority still lead the women’s league table with 21 points, six better than Ruhango. Saint Aloys Rwamagana stands third with 11 points while defending champions APR lie in fourth position with nine points and three games in hand.
