FOURTEEN-TIME CHAMPIONS, APR garnered Rwf 7 million in a seven-week Turbo King National Football League Crown Promotion which came to a climax on Friday.

This promotion involved only 13 teams which participated in the 2013/2014 TKNFL season and their fan clubs. Rayon Sports pulled out of the event after securing rival brewery company Skol as their official sponsor.

APR emerged the winner as they collected 224.815 bottle crowns to pocket a cash prize of Rwf 7million.

Rubavu District-based topflight league sides of Etincelles and Marines FC finished first and second-runners up with 208,658 and 194,808 crowns to walk away with Rwf 5million and 3million respectively.

Amagaju, Gicumbi, Musanze, Police, Muhanga, Mukura VS, AS Kigali, SC Kiyovu and Esperance each bagged Rwf 1 million each for participation and recognition.
