Nsengiyumva ready for Glasgow Games

TEAM RWANDA RIDER, Jean Bosco Nsengiyumva is expected to be in Bern, Switzerland where he will hold a final rehearsal before competing in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland this month.

TEAM RWANDA RIDER, Jean Bosco Nsengiyumva is expected to be in Bern, Switzerland where he will hold a final rehearsal before competing in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland this month.

The 22-year-old rider joins his teammate Valens Ndayisenga who has been at the UCI training center for over a month.

Nsengiyumva’s departure to Switzerland follows a recent trip by Janvier Hadi to US on a similar mission of preparations before hitting the road in Glasgow.

The national head coach Jonathan Boyer said yesterday, "They have been performing well and I believe they will do much better in their respective camps. I believe engaging them in different competitions will help them to raise their competitiveness, courage, confidence and exposure needed to excel in this sport,”

Other riders in team Rwanda preparing for Commonwealth Games include; Bonaventure Uwizeyimana who is based in France, Adrien Niyonshuti who is with South Africa’s MTN Qhubekha and Gasore Hategeka. They are expected to depart for Glasgow on July 27.
