Today, he is a professional DJ with his own label, Africanomania Ltd, a company he set up upon return from South Africa, where he lived for eight years. The New Times' Sarah Kwihangana caught up with him for a few questions.

Where can someone  find you?

You can get me at O-zone club located at KCT building in the city centre where I am the in-house DJ.

What is your principle when spinning discs?

I read the crowd and make them dance. It all flows as the party goes on; and the mixing has to turn on my audience.

What is your biggest fear?

Gosh, I freeze at the sight of a Snake

What would you change about yourself?

I am happy the way I am

If you were not a DJ what would you be?

A marketing and advertising agent.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

I once boarded a plane for a gig in Lusaka without a single franc in my wallet. When I landed at the airport, I was asked to pay for a visa or get deported. It was crazy but luckily people who had booked me came to my rescue.

What embarrasses you the most?

When my computer freezes in the middle of a spinning session...I hate it!

What kind of parent/husband would you like be?

I want to be the best. I want my wife and children to be my first priority and best friends.

Wild night out or romantic dinner?

Romantic dinner…… You will be taken more seriously.

How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who was passionate about my work, disciplined and an innovative entrepreneur
