Private schools can do better

Editor, It is good news that a government programme is outcompeting a private setup, that’s what we call development. The private sector favours those who can pay, but the government has a responsibility to ensure that both the poor and the wealthy have equal access and opportunity.

It is good news that a government programme is outcompeting a private setup, that’s what we call development. The private sector favours those who can pay, but the government has a responsibility to ensure that both the poor and the wealthy have equal access and opportunity.

Simple, the private sector should copy the government’s style and probably even do it better. If this is done properly, all students will benefit from the best yet affordable schools that we need our children to be enrolled in. Together we can.
