DEFENDING CHAMPION Dieudonné Habiyambere faces seed three Olivier Havugimana in the semi final of the Liberation Day tennis tournament due this morning at Amahoro tennis courts. 

The 18-year old Havugimana earned a slot in the last four after eliminating Ernest Habiyambere while Habiyambere knocked out Eric Bimenyimana. 

Another semi-final will pit Olivier Nkunda against Mathieu Uwizeyimana. 

Speaking to Saturday Sport, Havugimana said, "I know I am facing a tough opponent (Habiyambere) but am focused, determined and ready to overcome any challenge,” 

"I am focused on winning the title and having reached this stage I believe I will fight until the end,” added Havugimana. 

In women’s category, defending champion Gisele Umumararungu takes on Firdawusi Cyiza while Megame Ingabire battles Olive Tuyisenge.
