RAYON SPORTS will today pick the head coach after spending a month scouting for a potential tactician who will guide them to success in the upcoming season.
Tweleve foreign coaches expressed their desire to manage the Nyanza-based club but after an assessment, only one out of the three remaining will be named head coaching after today’s final meeting.
The trio includes Belgian Jean Francois Losciuto, French David Giguet and Serbian Srdjan Zivonjic.
The club president Theogene Ntampaka told the media on Friday that the new head coach will be named this evening and will start his duties in the second week of July.
The new head coach must help Rayon Sports win Cecafa Kagame Cup due in August for the first time since 2005.
"By August, the head coach will have had ample time to assemble a winning team. We desire to win this year’s Cecafa club championship at home,” added Ntampaka.
