New kids on the block, Calabash crew seem to have started their professional music journey on a high. The group consisting of Evans, Sintex and Ivolseol recently released a remix of their song, Killer with a Germany Grammy awards nominee band Susanne Blech.

Barely a year in the industry, the crew together with their producer and fellow band member recently featured in Susanne Blech’s killer remix.

"Killer is a party song calling for respect for music,” Says Ivolesol

Formed late last year, Calabash Crew is famed for songs like Beautiful, blessed and the recently released Chocolate. 

"We are determined to sell our music beyond Rwanda’s borders and Killer is one of the many collabos, there are more on the way. We are currently working on how to get more international artistes to collaborate with on other music projects,” he added.

Susanne Blech is a German-based synthpop band and was recently nominated for the Grammy awards in the category of best band.

The band was formed in 2004 by Timon-Karl Kaleyta, the lead singer, other band members are Jerome Vazhayil, Jobin Vazhayil, Jens Schilling, Kay Schilling, Dennis Brzoska and Sebastian Maier.
