The second leg of the national volleyball league gets underway this weekend with Rayon Sports seeking to maintain their impressive run for silverware.

Rayon Sports Volleyball Club, head coach Fidele ‘Fidjo’ Nyirimana will be on a mission to register a clean sheet against their opponents in as far his club’s desire of winning the title is concerned.

He believes a good number of young players mixed with experienced stars will play a big role in his quest for the title.

Rayon is placed in pool C where they face Christ Roi and Lycee de Nyanza at Nyanza courts before Lycee de Nyanza and Christ-Roi meet in the last game.

Other title contenders APR in Pool A host Rusumo High School  before Kirehe meets St Joseph in another game.

In Pool B, GSOB takes on PSVF; INATEK hosts PSVF before INATEK battles GSOB in the final group game.

In Pool D, Umubano Blue Tigers is up against UR/College of Education who will again meet Kigali Volleyball club before Umubano Blue Tigers wind up the group campaign against Kigali Volleyball club.

APR leads the table with 45 points, two ahead of Rayon Sports who lie second while KVC and INATEK are placed third and fourth respectively.
