Welcome to the children’s rights space! The right we are going to talk about today is about freedom of expression. Like adults, children have a right to express themselves.

Children can express themselves while they are together with their fellow children, at school during classes and at home while communicating with their parents.

You can also express yourselves through print media that is to say, newspapers, and magazines to mention a few.

With print media, the children’s writings can be published either in the kids magazines, in children’s reading books and newspapers among others.

We also get to express ourselves while playing, listening or communicating with our friends. This right of expression is not meant for few children, every child has a right to be heard.

So now that you know that you have a right to express yourself, you should not be afraid of talking or communicating what is on your mind.
