Marizamunda is new deputy commissioner general of police
President Paul Kagame has appointed Lt. Col. Juvenal Marizamunda as the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Administration and Personnel (DIGP A/P) after he was transferred from the Rwanda Defence Forces.

President Paul Kagame has appointed Lt. Col. Juvenal Marizamunda as the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Administration and Personnel (DIGP A/P) after he was transferred from the Rwanda Defence Forces.
The appointment was announced last evening, with Marizamunda now given a new rank of Deputy Commissioner General of Police.
He replaces DCGP Stanley Nsabimana.
Also appointed was Assistant Commissioner of Police Jean Marie Vianney Twagirayezu, now the new Commissioner for Intelligence, according to a statement.
