VISUAL ARTIST Innocent Buregeya held a successful solo exhibition dubbed celebrating nature through art at Jet gallery at the Union Trade Centre on Saturday.

The exhibition attracted a fair audience that was amazed with his fascinating pieces.

The exhibition featured a selection of paintings as well as beautifully designed sculptures made from recycled materials that may be harmful to the environment.

"It is everyone’s responsibility to conserve the environment.

In my exhibition, I wanted to show fellow artists and the public that we can use objects that may be harmful to our environment to make beautiful art pieces or decorations,” Buregeya explains

Buregeya’s work is inspired by life, nature and the surroundings, which he translates into art. Exhibition goers enjoyed gentle music and refreshments as they admired the artworks, sharing experiences with the artist himself and creating an inspirational mood. The exhibition started at 6.00pm and closed at 10.00pm.
