Rapper Danny Nanone has joined Incredible Records under the guidance of Bernard Bagenzi, the founder of the studio. Reports emerged last week that the two were in talks over a possible contract at the Ndamage Building based studio.
Bagenzi is excited about having Nanone at his studio. "We have always worked together but now I have the opportunity to help him grow his talent. It is among the things that I have always wanted to do,” said Bagenzi.
Bagenzi added that within two years, they hope to release two albums complete with videos while they work on a strategy to market Nanone’s music in the region.
Nanone joins Incredible Records that already boasts of one of the current Primus Guma Guma Superstar 4 contestants Active. Nanone and Active collaborated on the hit single Udukoryo twinshi.
On his part, Nanone says he is thrilled to work with the Incredible Records team. "This gives me a chance to do music with a reputable company under the guidance of an experienced manager. Incredible Records does both audio and video production which will simplify my work,” Nanone said.
He previously worked with Bagenzi on his first music video Akamunani featuring King James. Bernard went on to produce Danny’s Igikwiye featuring Sacha and Udukoryo twinshi featuring Active.
