If your mother or wife doesn’t know about the game then you have no right to assume all women are as ignorant as those in your family.
…interrupt power supply during World Cup games. I am clearly addressing the folks at EWSA. Please guys we really hate it when you cut off power supply during a world cup game. We wait for four years to enjoy these games and we cannot bear the pain of watching the games through rumours after you have switched off the power.
Feel free to switch off at any other time other than during a game. At those times we are all watching so we cannot accept any excuse you have in mind.
…arrive late at work and blame the late night World Cup games. I know we all love the game of football but there is no excuse for stupidity. How on earth do you stay up till the wee hours of the morning then get to work late and expect your boss to listen to your excuse that there was a late night World Cup game?
Are you a FIFA official now? Do you think you can pay your rent by narrating the World Cup game that kicked off at 3am? If you really can’t miss the games then you should have applied for leave around this time.
…cannot give us a break even during the World Cup. I am basically referring to those people whose business cards bear the word ‘Terrorist’ in the space for occupation. And I am not saying that I loved them before but I just hate them even more when they go about killing people who are just enjoying the World Cup.
They did in 2010 in Kampala and they are already doing the same in Kenya (Mpeketoni) and parts of Nigeria. Surely these people need their own hell on judgment day.
