Genocide memorial tourneys also dubbed ‘Gisembe memorial tournaments’ were claimed by league title hopefuls Espoir in men’s and Burundi’s Belco Stars in women’s category.
Espoir, seeking a third consecutive title, take on rivals Kigali
Basketball Club and United Generation Basketball club (UGB) today and tomorrow respectively, both games will be played at Amahoro indoor stadium.
Elsewhere, three-time Fiba/Africa zone V champions APR take on UGB today at 10am at Amahoro indoor stadium.
Espoir lead the table with 28 points, one ahead of APR who have however played two games more, CSK is third with 26, while debutants IPRC- Kicukiro are in fourth position with 25.
