JODY, one of the latest music stars on the Rwanda music scene has dropped yet another video of the hit single better than them.
This is good news for the fans that have anxiously waited for months to get hold of the video. The song has for months ruled the airwaves and has been a hit in most entertainment spots within Kigali.
The dancehall video features Jody and a group of dancers gyrating away to the rhythm of the song and beats. The video was done by Ken Heights; a popular video production company in Uganda.
The video premiered on Tuesday night at a popular hangout in town called Vennent. Despite the ongoing World Cup, revellers were treated to an array of Jody’s music and videos before officially unveiling the better than them video.
The video enlisted a series of reactions; mostly pleasant ones from her fans in attendance, that were seen to approve of her efforts. Most went as far as congratulating her.
Jessica, a fan in her mid thirties said "I will keep supporting Jody for her great work. It is upon us to support the growth of Rwandan music and youngsters like Jody.”
Jody is the star behind songs like Njye nawe, intera, Tenderness and Ndacyashikanya; among many others. Her genre of music is Afropop that she mostly fuses with soft reggae, RnB and dancehall.
With just a career that spans only two years in the music industry, Jody has proven to be a worthwhile contender and partaker of the ‘cake’ in the Rwanda music industry.
