Rwandan gospel music cousins Adrien Misigaro and Gentil Misigaro will lead the A-list of artists who will perform at Fortran Bigirimana's maiden music tour in Canada.
The much-anticipated tour, dubbed 'Ntaco Nzoba Kuko Birakunvira’ tour, kicks off in Ottawa, at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, on Friday, September 15 and closes at the Resurrection Centre in Montreal on Saturday, September 16.
After the Canada tour, Fortran will take his tour to Portland-Maine, in the United States. Adrien, who currently stays in Seattle, United States, touched down in Ottawa on Wednesday where he is expected to perform at both shows.
"Happy to join my brother in music, Fortran. We did a couple of songs together and I am so excited to join him on stage and perform them together," Adrien said upon arrival.
Besides the Misigaro cousins, Fortran will also be joined by Clark Kuze and Willy Uwizeye, both of whom are household names in Burundian gospel music industry. The concert has been organised by Reimage Canada INC, the event management company that deals with African creatives.
Tickets for the show are on sale via EventBrite at $35 regular and $60 VIP.
Fortran has performed in different countries such as DR Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal, France, and many more. He is known for hit songs such as 'Nimumfashe Dushime’, ‘Ni Amahoro’, ‘Ntaco Nzoba’, and ‘Je suis en paix’, among many others.
He arrived in Canada two weeks earlier so as to invest ample time for rehearsals as he seeks to deliver an epic performance before Rwandans and Burundians living in Ottawa and Montreal.
