The 10 DJs who recently made it to the semi-final stage of the 'Mützig Amabeats' competition, will on Saturday, September 16 compete against each other to bag a ticket to the finals of the competition scheduled for October.

The semi-final event, scheduled to take place at Kigali City Tower, will see two out of the 10 selected DJs battle to progress to the grand finale.

DJ Lenzo will face DJ Noodlot, DJ Montag and DJ Illest, DJ Kayg and DJ Bhura, DJ Yolo and DJ Oz The DJ, as well as DJ Kavori vs DJ Dallas.

DJ Lenzo leads other deejays in chances of winning the competition, seeing how well he is experience in the DJing career and the fanbase he has in the country.

The 10 deejays were reduced from 40 contestants who registered to participate in the second edition of the competition sponsored and organised by Bralirwa Plc with a goal to promote DJs and create public awareness of the talent and quality music in Rwanda, as well as provide business opportunities, networking, and leisure activities through competitions.

The winner of the competition will be awarded a one-year brand ambassador contract valued at RWF 18,000,000, along with DJ equipment worth RWF 5,000,000.

The first runner-up will also be awarded a one-year contract as brand ambassador valued at RWF 12,000,000, along with DJ equipment worth RWF 2,500,000 while the 2nd Runner up will be awarded a cash prize of RWF 2,500,000.
