Rwanda hit makers Urban boys are soaring higher than ever before after recording a song with Nigerian superstar Iyanya (Tayali). The song has since gone international after it was played on international music channel Trace TV.  

"This is a huge achievement for us. It is never easy for Rwandan music to make it to the international scene,” says Urban Boys Humble Gizzo.

Tayali is the first Rwandan song to appear on Africa’s recognised music channel Trace television based in South Africa.

Despite being criticised for spending about Rwf20 million on Tayali, the Urban Boys are content with the project.

Urban Boys is a celebrated local music group and perhaps the best when it comes to performance and making quality videos.

 The trio boasts of Barahurura, Nkubita, Simubure and more songs.
