Police travel to Kigoma in bid for H-ball league title

Police handball club head coach Antoine Ntanganyimana has urged his players to continue with the outstanding performances and take it into today’s top of the table clash against ES Kigoma.

Police handball club head coach Antoine Ntanganyimana has urged his players to continue with the outstanding performances and take it into today’s top of the table clash against ES Kigoma.

"Our aim since the beginning of the year is to win the national league title and thank God we have managed to win so many games and two trophies already this season. Our focus still remains on the league title,” Ntanganyimana said.

Police lead the nine-team league table with 18 points, two ahead of second-placed ES Kigoma from six matches played so far. Defending champions Gicumbi are in third position with 14 points.

Meanwhile, ES Kigoma based skipper Shaffi Niyonkuru has recovered from an arm injury and is expected to lead his team against highflying Police.
