LEAGUE CLUB Rayon Sports have started a keen search for a professional and experienced coach to take over from Belgian Luc Eymael who left the blues camp in May.

The job offer for the new coach came two days after Rayon Sports were knocked out of the 2014 Peace Cup competition by archrivals APR after a 2-1 loss.

"Recruiting a new coach is our top priority. We need an experienced coach to beef up the technical staff and ensure that we win the Cecafa Kagame Cup scheduled for August,” the club chairman Theogene Ntampaka told Times Sport yesterday.

Among the requirements, the new coach should possess an applicable degree or diploma, coaching license A from Caf, Uefa, Conmebol, AFC or OFL, recommendation letter from their respective football association, five years relevant experience as club head coach and should have a superior command in both English and French among others.

Deadline for application is June 25 and shortlisted candidates will be contacted five days later after being scrutinized by an ad hoc technical recruitment committee which will be set up by the executive committee of Rayon Sports Football Club.

The blues are now under the tutelage of Thierry Hitimana and Billy Musa Kombi who took over on a temporary basis after Belgium national Luc Eymael terminated his contract with Rayon sport following an eight-month ban by Rwanda football body, Ferwafa.
